Straight answers about what pest control costs

Pest control cost in Chattanooga and Cleveland, TN depends on the pest, the size and construction of your home, how established the problem is, and whether you need a one-time treatment or ongoing protection. Termites and bed bugs usually cost more than routine pest service. Trust Exterminating gives free estimates after identifying the problem.

Plan types

Three ways to work with us

Most customers fit one of these. We'll recommend the one that matches your problem, including when a one-time visit is enough.

  • Single visit, with follow-up if the treatment calls for it

    One-time treatment

A single, specific problem, like a wasp nest, an ant trail or a move-in treatment.

We identify the pest, treat it at the source and tell you how to keep it from coming back. No ongoing commitment.

    • Inspection and pest identification
    • Targeted treatment for the identified pest
    • Prevention recommendations for your home
    • Follow-up visit when the treatment requires one

  • Every three months

    Quarterly home protection

Year-round control of common household pests: ants, roaches, spiders and more.

Regular visits that keep a protective barrier in place through the seasons, so problems get stopped before they move indoors.

    • Initial inspection and treatment
    • Exterior perimeter treatment each visit
    • Interior treatment as needed
    • Removal of reachable webs and wasp nests
    • Service between visits if covered pests return

  • Yearly inspection, with monitoring as specified

    Annual termite protection

Homeowners who want ongoing termite monitoring or protection after treatment.

A yearly inspection for termite activity and conducive conditions, paired with treatment or monitoring that fits your home.

    • Annual termite inspection
    • Moisture and conducive-condition report
    • Bait station monitoring or liquid treatment, depending on the plan
    • Re-treatment terms as stated in your agreement

What affects your price

Why two estimates can look different

These are the things we look at before quoting a job.

  • The pest

Routine pests like ants and spiders are usually handled with standard service. Termites, bed bugs and established German cockroach problems take more time, specialized products and often several visits.

  • Size and layout of the home

Square footage, number of stories, and whether the house sits on a slab, a basement or a crawl space all change how much ground we treat.

  • How established the problem is

A few ants in spring is a different job from a colony that has been in a wall for a year. Earlier usually means simpler and cheaper.

  • Conditions around the house

Moisture, wood-to-soil contact, heavy mulch, wooded lots and nearby standing water all raise pest pressure and can affect what treatment makes sense.

  • One-time or ongoing

A single treatment fixes a specific problem. Ongoing plans spread the work across the year, which often costs less than repeated one-off calls.

  • Extra work

Sealing entry points, vapor barriers, dehumidifiers or crawl space repairs are quoted separately, based on materials and labor.

Questions

Cost and contracts

Why don't you list prices on the website?

Because a fair price depends on the pest, the house and how far the problem has gone. A number on a website is either too high for small jobs or a teaser that changes when the tech arrives. We'd rather look, identify the problem and give you a real figure.

Do I have to sign a contract?

Not for a one-time treatment. Ongoing plans have a written agreement that spells out what's covered and how often we visit. Ask us to walk you through it before you sign.

Can I cancel a recurring plan?

Yes. Let us know and we'll explain how cancellation works under your agreement, including any notice period.

What if pests come back between visits?

Call us. On a recurring plan, covered pests that return between scheduled visits are handled under the terms of your agreement. On a one-time treatment we'll talk through what's happening and the options.

Is a recurring plan cheaper than calling when I have a problem?

Often, yes, for homes with steady pest pressure. Regular service keeps problems small, and small problems take less time and product to fix. If your home only has an occasional issue, we'll tell you a one-time treatment makes more sense.

How do I pay?

You can pay your invoice online through our secure payment portal, linked from the Pay Now button on this site. If you'd rather pay another way, ask your technician or call the office.
